Quality Specialist

Are you passionate about quality and continuous improvement? I am currently working closely with a global client who is on the look out for a quality specialist work with within their lift division. 

Role Overview:

 

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement projects through data analysis, inspections, and testing.
  • Promote quality awareness within the organization by providing training and sharing best business practices.
  • Support the Quality Manager in deploying KONE’s quality strategy, governance, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize quality performance improvement based on data analysis.
  • Use continuous improvement methodologies to investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, identify corrective actions, and drive actions to closure.
  • Create and analyse large datasets from multiple platforms to identify trends.
  • Support the Quality Manager with target setting.
  • Perform in-process or product inspections and execute measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures to validate that requirements are met.
  • Maintain and update quality records as required by quality procedures.
  • Share skills and knowledge about quality methodology and tools, ensuring the organization understands and can execute these learnings.
  • Support the Quality Manager with internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective actions of Quality Improvement teams in managed areas.

Key Skills & Experiences:

  • Proven technical quality background.
  • Working knowledge of quality tools, methods, and systems.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly complex, diverse, and changing environment, while adapting to change and maintaining focus on key business goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, including ISO standards (ISO-9001, ISO-14001), is desirable.
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
