A leading name in the UK lift industry is seeking a Service Portfolio Manager to oversee and develop an existing portfolio of lift maintenance clients.

This is a commercially focused account management role centred on retention, growth, and long-term client satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for key regional customers—ensuring service excellence, managing contract renewals, and identifying opportunities to expand the company’s presence within each account.

Your success will be defined by how effectively you strengthen relationships, optimise contract performance, and uncover new revenue opportunities across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of established regional lift maintenance contracts, serving as the main point of contact for all commercial and contractual matters.

  • Oversee renewals, amendments, billing, and service-level adjustments to ensure smooth ongoing management.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across repairs, modernisations, and additional maintenance units.

  • Conduct regular account reviews and performance meetings, presenting value and performance data to clients.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams — including Operations, Technical, and Finance — to resolve issues efficiently and maintain service excellence.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking client communications, contract status, and growth initiatives.

  • Monitor portfolio debt, ensuring all client accounts remain within acceptable payment terms (under 60 days).

About You

  • Experienced in account management, client services, or customer success, ideally within the lift, facilities management, or technical services sectors.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to grow revenue from existing accounts.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Organised and detail-focused, capable of managing multiple clients simultaneously.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.

  • Confident user of CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willing to travel regularly to client sites and company offices.

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with lift systems, service contracts, and compliance standards.

Remuneration / Package

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonus aligned to measurable KPIs.

  • Structured training and professional development support.

  • Clear career progression opportunities within a growing national team.

  • Full benefits package including pension, holidays, and wellbeing support.
