We are currently looking for an experienced lift technician to be based in the Midlands area to provide technical support on different jobs. Within this lift technician role you will be heavily reliant on for rectifying problemed lifts and assisting other lift technicians within technical issues that arrive. You will be joining a company which has had exponential growth over the last year with brand new state of the art offices, in house training provided and also progression opportunities due to the NVQ training part of the business.
Lift technician hours
- 40 hour working week
- 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch
- Hours may exceed 40 hours - role is salaried and not paid hourly.
Lift technician salary:
- Basic salary £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
- Standard pension contribution
- 25 days holiday
- Company van provided from day one with personal use permitted. Company car available but could affect your salary.
Lift Technician responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the entire business
- Assisting other engineers with technical issues
- Helping rectify problem lifts and return them to service
- Liaising with manufacturers where necessary
- Relaying technical information to key stakeholders in the business
- Delivering mentorship and training to junior engineers
I am keen to speak to lift technicians that have an NVQ 4 or equivalent qualification. I am also keen to speak to candidates that have worked as a call out engineer for a prolonged period of time as this will be directly transferable to this role.
Lift technician experience
- Lift industry knowledge is a must
- NVQ 4 or equivalent is ideal
- DBS check will be required for this role
- Must have a driver license
