We are currently seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join our team in the Oxford area.
The successful candidate will have experience in lift/escalator servicing, maintenance and repairs. Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift/Escalator maintenance or equivalent – you must also possess expert fault finding and diagnostic skills.
This role will see you carrying out routine servicing of lift/escalator equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components. You will be required to rectify and reduce faults on lift/escalator equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning. You will also undertake site surveys as well as attending training sessions to keep up to date on technical knowledge and skills.
You must be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, requires the use of hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate various hand and power tools and to record written information. You must be able to make effective use of written or graphical information.
This role offers a salary of between £36,000 to £47,000 dependent on experience. By joining us, you will be part of a team of experienced engineers, working to ensure that all lift/escalator equipment is serviced and maintained to the highest level.
