As a Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials, products, and services essential for the company's operations. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Qualifications / Profile:
- Desired 5 + years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the elevator or construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Procurement or a related field
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Oversight: Oversee the procurement of materials, products, and services required for the company's operations, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high quality standards.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers to secure favorable contracts and ensure the best value for the company.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and continuity of supplies.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Align procurement activities with company goals by working closely with the Commercial and Group Purchasing Departments.
- Delivery Management: Oversee material delivery, ensuring timely receipt and resolving issues.
