Maintenance Technician - Electrically Qualified

Hours: 40 Hours (Rotating shift pattern 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 - Mon to Fri)

Job Description:

Our client, is seeking a Maintenance Technician with electrical qualifications to join their engineering team. The role involves overseeing all maintenance activities on a rotating shift pattern, improving machine up-time through reactive and preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with company standards and health & safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair of machinery, plant, and equipment
• Liaise with managers and shift staff to provide maintenance support
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
• Record detailed repair information and ensure timely ordering of parts
• Complete shift reports and provide handover information

Experience, Qualifications, and Knowledge Required:

• City & Guilds - Part 3 or ONC/OND/HNC Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Pneumatics fault finding and interpretation of complex electrical drawings
• Desirable experience in modern control systems, electronics, and installation projects
• Experience in the following modern control systems, PLCs fault finding, Drives & Controls, Encoders, sensors & feedback systems, CNC machine controls
